Job Description:Revkit is looking for skilled Panel Beaters and Spray Painters to join our growing team. We are looking for individuals with expertise in vehicle body repairs and finishing, as well as a strong attention to detail. As a Panel Beater or Spray Painter, you will play a vital role in restoring and maintaining vehicles to their original condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess vehicle damage and determine the required repair methods.
  • Remove and replace damaged parts such as doors, fenders, and hoods.
  • Use tools to repair vehicle body damage, including dents, scratches, and frame damage.
  • Conduct welding and metalwork to restore vehicle body parts.
  • Prepare vehicles for painting by ensuring smooth surfaces.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding and priming.
  • Mix paints to the right specifications and apply coats to the vehicle body.
  • Ensure the paint job is smooth, consistent, and of high quality.
  • Inspect completed work and make necessary touch-ups.
  • Work with the team to meet production deadlines and ensure high standards.
  • Maintain spray-painting equipment and keep the painting area organized and clean.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Panel Beater or Spray Painter in the automotive industry.
  • Proficiency in Shona and Ndebele is essential. English proficiency is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work with a variety of repair and spray-painting tools and equipment.
  • Attention to detail, precision, and a high standard of work.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and instructions during repairs and painting.
  • Good communication skills and a team player.
